Freedom comes through education. Schooling makes people free: it gives people the ability to understand and to make decisions independently, based on their own knowledge. Knowledge and skills are fundamental requirements for the world of work and for a person's future. Study is necessary in order to grow intellectually and develop a critical mind. School educates everyone - on the same footing, regardless of their background. Our DNA was written millions of years ago. It contains an important evolutionary legacy, and knowledge that represents our history. The resulting awareness is an important resource that needs to be disseminated: specifically, that resource is knowledge.
